Connaught wins contract to improve, maintain and repair over 12,000 Yorkshire Housing properties

Yorkshire Housing Ltd and Connaught Partnerships Ltd have announced a partnership to provide investment, maintenance and repair works to over 12,000 properties across North and West Yorkshire for the next four years.

The partnership, with a value of approximately £7million per annum, will commence on 1st October 2009 and sees Connaught Partnerships Ltd working with Yorkshire Housing to deliver services in North and West Yorkshire.

David Bolton, Property Services Director for Yorkshire Housing, said “Connaught has demonstrated through the bid process their synergy with Yorkshire Housing’s values of Respect, Reliability and Enthusiasm and share YHL’s Corporate Plan goal to achieve excellence in all that we do.”

Connaught will deliver planned investment works, including kitchen, bathroom, roofing, structural and windows and doors improvements; as well as maintenance of lifts, door entry systems, fire alarms and air conditioning, for homes across the North Yorkshire areas of Craven, Hambleton, Ryedale, Harrogate, Scarborough, Selby, York and the East Riding and in the West Yorkshire areas of Bradford, Leeds, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. In addition Connaught will continue to provide Yorkshire Housing’s day to day repairs service for their 7,000 homes in West Yorkshire.
