Connaught staff volunteer to work with Glasgow Homelessness Network

We’ve joined forces with the Glasgow Homelessness Network (GHN) to provide practical training for people at the Lodging Housing Mission – a day centre for the homeless.
A handful of Connaught employees donated their spare time to teach the workshops on topics such as DIY, communication and interview skills.
One of the people taking part in the twelve week programme is Mary Smith, 51 who became homeless after she left her violent partner following years of abuse. She said “Many people in my situation are reliant on organisations like GHN to provide us with access to learning opportunities in the hope we can settle and get a job. It’s been great to learn something new.”
