- Commenced trading as a concrete repair specialist in Sidmouth
1986
- Won our first major social housing contract with Mid Devon District Council
1995
- Pioneered the first ever customer satisfaction measurement system in the construction industry
- Employed the construction industry’s first Tenant Liaison Officer
- Introduced the concept of Relationship Contracting
1996
- Attained the Investors in People award
- Management bought the company

1998

1999

2000
- Acquired a cleaning company which has since become Connaught Environmental

- Launched our ‘Partnering – Slogan or Solution’ report

- Acquired Gasforce, the UK’s leading gas service and maintenance provider to commercial businesses
2004
- Won AIM Company of the Year
- Acquired JCM in Scotland and BST and Gascare in Wales
- Won our first major social housing partnership in Wales with Valleys to Coast
2005
- Created our first Training Academy in Caerphilly
- Won Partnering Contractor of the Year at the Housing Excellence Awards
- Won AIM Decade of Excellence
- Won our first social housing asset management contract with Paradigm Housing Group
- Won our first major social housing partnership in Scotland with Glasgow HA

2006
